Banglalink Desh Rang "SMART"

Banglalink always strives to bring new benefits for the customers. Smart is such a benefit that is designed to be more cost saving for the customers who require to talk and SMS heavily. Availing the smart50 offer, banglalink desh rang customers can now get 50 minutes of talk-time and 50 SMS for paying only 30 Taka.

To avail smart50, banglalink desh rang customers need to dial *132*1# and in return they will get a return message for confirmation. To confirm, customers will need to press 1, and dial.

Current Promotions from Banglalink & Citycell

Here are current amazing promotions from various mobile phone operators at a glance. We have taken them from their official web site.

Banglalink
300 SMS can be gotten free just by recharging 50 tk on Banglalink
Banglalink is offering customers 300 free SMS on recharging only tk 50. This offer is applicable for all new & existing (active/deactive/inactive) banglalink desh, desh rang, ladies,first!, enterprise call & control (personal, Corporate, SME ) customers. They can avail the offer by recharging minimum Tk.50 at a time during the promotion period. Each customer can avail the offer only once during the promotion period. The free SMS may be sent to banglalink numbers only.

The free SMS will be given in 2 equal installments. The first 150 SMS will be given within 48hours of recharging tk50. To get the next installment; customers need to recharge at least Tk.10 within 30th days from 1st recharge date. 2nd installment will be given on the 30th day from the 1st installment given date.

This is a limited time offer.

Q 1. Who is eligible to avail the promotion?
A 1. This offer is applicable for all new & existing (active/deactive/inactive) banglalink desh, desh rang, ladies,first!, enterprise call & control (personal, Corporate, SME ) customers. They can avail the offer by recharging minimum Tk.50 during the promotion period.

Q 2. How many times can I avail the free SMS facility?
A 2. You can avail the free 300 SMS only once in the promotion period i.e. every customer will get only once during the promotion if s/he recharges Tk.50 or above at a time

Q 3. How can I avail this promotion?
A 3. You need to recharge Tk.50 or above at a time within the promotion period to avail the promotion effective from 1st June 2008

Q 4. If I recharge Tk. 10 on 1st June, Tk.20 on 10th June and again Tk.20 on 14th June, will I be eligible for the bonus?
A 4. No. Your 1st recharge has to be of Tk.50 or above at a time in the promotion period. Cumulative recharge will not be considered for the bonus

Q 5. Will I get bonus 300 SMS all at once?
A 5. No. Bonus 300 SMS will be given spreading over equal 2 installments i.e. 150 SMS in each installment

Q 6. Can I send these free SMS to non-banglalink numberst?
A 6. No. Bonus SMS can be sent only to banglalink numbers. Free SMS can not be used for push pull, International and other operators' number SMS

Q 7. How can I get the 1st installment?
A 7. You will get the 1st 150 SMS upon 1st recharge of Tk.50 or above within the promotion period effective from 1st June. 1st 150 SMS will be given within 48hours of the recharge

Q 8. How can I get my next 2nd installment?
A 8. To get the next installment; you must recharge with at least Tk.10 within 30th day from 1st recharge date. 2nd installment will be given on the 30th day from the 1st installment given date

Q 9. I forgot to recharge with Tk.10 within 30 days from 1st recharge date. Can I get my 2nd installment?
A 9. No. You will not get the bonus since you haven't recharged with at least Tk.10 within 30th day from the 1st recharge date.

Q 10. I get my 2nd installment, and I still have free SMS in my account, will they carry over?
A 10. No. Each installment's free SMS (150) are valid for 30 days each. The unused bonus free SMS will not be carried over after validity is over.

Q 11. I have finished my free SMS before ending the validity period of 30 days. Now, if I send SMS to banglalink numbers, will that be charged?
A 11. Any on net SMS usage beyond the free 150 SMS within 30 days will be charged from the main account as normal rate

Q 12. I am a regular prepaid customer am I eligible for this promotion?
A 12. Regular customers are not entitled. If regular customers migrate to banglalink desh/desh rang, they will be entitled to get the FREE SMS if they recharge within the promotional period

Q 13. What happens if I migrate from one prepaid package to another i.e. ladies,first! to desh etc?
A 13. Package migration within desh, ladies,first! and desh rang will have no effect on the free SMS

Q 14. If any customer migrates from prepaid package to enterprise call & control package while enjoying 300 FREE SMS, will the remaining FREE SMS carry over after migration?
A 14. No, the balance SMS will be removed from the account after migration from prepaid to enterprise call & control. If any customer again recharges Tk.50 during the promotion after migrating to enterprise Call & Control s/he can again enjoy 300 FREE SMS.

Q 15. I am a new personal call & control customer and enjoying 100 FREE SMS which I got during my activation. Can I also enjoy the 300 FREE SMS?
A 15. You were given 100 FREE SMS during activation to be used for both on-net and off-net. but during 300 FREE SMS promotion your remaining FREE activation SMS will be transferred as off-net SMS only and you can avail 300 FREE on-net SMS through recharging minimum Tk.50 during the promotion. After completion of 300 SMS promotion you can again use your activation SMS (if remaining any) to both on-net and off-net.

Q 16. I am a new BL SME Call & Control customer and enjoying 50 FREE SMS which I got during my activation. Can I also enjoy the 300 FREE SMS?
A 16. Same solution as personal Call & Control

CityCell
CityCell's callrate has been made reduced
Recently, Citycell One's callrate has been reduced. Now all subscribers of Citycell One can talk at as lower as 0.98/min callrate to any operator's number 24 hours. To citycell numbers, One subscribers will enjoy 0.25/min callrate all over the day and night. To BTTB numbers, 0.98 + BTTB charge. FnF to other operators, 0.90/min 24 hours.
Note: Calling to any operator's number including Citycell will have 60 seconds pulse. Calling to BTTB and other mobile's FnF number will have 30 seconds pulse.

SMS rate
Citycell to any other mobile: 0.90/SMS
Citycell to Citycell: 0.40/SMS
Citycell to International: 2.00/SMS

Banglalink' callrate reduced again

Country's second largest mobile communication operator Banglalink has recently produced another reduced call-tariff for their Desh subscribers. Here is details about the latest on Banglalink.

Promotion:
Under this offer banglalink desh customers will enjoy talking at only tk 0.69/min to any operator from 9am – 5pm. For each call there will be a call set-up charge of tk 0.30. To further strengthen the position of banglalink desh package as the best prepaid package by offering the comfort of talking for longer duration and paying much less then earlier even in peak hours.

Re-register your BL connection before 31 May to get 100tk Free Talk time

To attract subscribers to re-register existing connections before May 31, Banglalink has recently offered a new announcement. If any banglalink subscriber re-registers his/her connection, Banglalink will give 100BDT free talk time to his re-registered connection.
So, everyone, not only Banglalink users but also all mobile phone owners, should re-register their all connection before the date to avoid connection ban.

Reregister your connection before May 30

As per government directive, all mobile phone owners have to reregister thier Sim card before May 30. This time will probably not be extended. So all (not only subscribers who have bought their connection before 26 February, but also all sim owners) subscribers should pay attention to reregister their existing SIM cards befoer May 30 to continue using mobile phone.

Banglalink's FNF rate reduced

Most recently, Banglalink has reduced their FnF rate. From Banglalink Desh, every subscribers can call to their Banglalink FnF number twenty four hours at 25paisa per minute.
All other call rates will be existing as before.

Banglalink Internet

Did you know that Banglalink has a GPRS service?
Banglalink used to provide this service for their corporate/post paid subscribers. But nowadays, Banglalink has opened the service for pre paid subscribers too. Now you can even enjoy the power of Banglalink Internet.
To active your service, call 121. There is no alternative way to active you service but customer care.

Before you call, please make sure that you know exacly what is your handset's name and model no. To send configuration, Banglalink representatives need to know what handset you are using. If you do not know, you can even set/configure your handset yourself. Here's the necessary information.

For WAP:
Create new profile on your handset's web/internet/gprs settings. Name it as Banglalink WAP. And use the following information.
APN/Access Point Name: blwap.
IP address: 010.010.055.034
Leave all other settings (including User ID/name or Password) blank.

For WEB:
Create another profile and name it as Banglalink WEB. Use the following information.
APN/Access Point Name: blweb.
IP Address, Username and Password should be left blank.



In your SIM card, when GPRS service is active, you can surf internet through your mobile phone and imagine the power of Technology.
