Current updates from Aktel

Aktel has recently announced a new tariff plan applicable to all of their prepaid subscribers. Specially, all connections (prepaid) has been transformed into a single package. Here's the package details:

Aktel's announcement:
>> Maximum 5 FNF (Friends 'n Family) numbers which can be added to any mobile operators.
>> Users can choose any AKTEL number as a partner number. Partner means a special FnF number.
>> BTTB connectivity. No incoming charges applicable.
>> EISD (Economy ISD) calling facility to 55 countries. To use this facility, an additional 012 should be added before the desired number.
>> GPRS/WAP (Internet) connectivity throughout the nation.
>> All applicable value added services are available.

Call rate of Aktel Prepaid connections:
On-net (Ak-Ak):
0.25/Min at 12.00AM-08.00AM.
1.0/Min at 08.00AM-04.00PM.
1.5/Min at 04.00PM-12.00AM.
FnF rate 0.25/Min at any time to On-net (Ak-Ak) number.

Off-net (Ak-Others):
1.5/Min at 12.00AM-08.00AM.
1.0/Min at 08.00AM-04.00PM.
1.5/Min at 04.00PM-12.00AM.
FnF rate 1.0/Min to any number throughout the day.

Parter Number: 0.25/Min whole day. Partner number must be an Aktel.
SMS: 1.0/SMS to any mobile operator.
Pulse: 30 seconds pulse from the first minute.

Note: All callrates stated hereinabove is exclusive of all applicable VATs. 15% Vat will be added to all of them. For BTTB charges, BTTB time band will be applicable. BTTB incoming is always totally free-of-cost.


New Connection:
Package price is 225.0BDT. Sim card is inclusive of 50 BDT. You can use the amount to send SMS, make call to anywhere or use value added services (this depends up to you).


Refill validity:
10-99 BDT = 30 Days
100-299 BDT = 60 Days
300-1000 BDT = 365 Days (1 year)
Note: Applicable for both of Scratch card/Prepaid card and Easy Load.


Works with FnF & parter number:
To know the entire process, send as SMS to 8363 (8FNF) typing HELP.
To add one or more number, type add [space] Number1 [space] Number2 and send to 8363. Add multiple numbers if you want. Numbers allowed: upto 5 to any number.
To add a partner number, Type P [space] Number and send to 8363. This number should be an Aktel.

To delete, type del [space] number you want to delete. Send to 8363.

To see current FnF numbers including partner, just simply type FNF and send to 8363.

Note: FnF or Partner number can be changed after 15 days from the activation date. Standard SMS charge including VAT is applicable.
